Well I'm sure this song was written while they were still "indie" so just because it's now recorded in a studio doesn't change the meaning of the song... besides maybe he's just singing about his love for indie music and the innocence of it...

Mate, kombat is right, indie stands for independent, this is not indie music this is pop music.

Technically all music is individual in that case no mater what... But Indie... it's hard to classify. Kinda like Metal in all it's sub genres. But it omes down to taste, Like i classify GnR as Glam Rock along with Velvet Revolver. My friends keep saying there hard rock, but i odnt associat them, i associate Atreyu etc with hard rock.... And for osme reason they call them Metal... So like yeah, its down to the person to choose the genre.

...your not a retard right?cuz you see there's more to indie rock than this indie pop crap, in fact its an entire genre. so when a vid is named indie rock'n'roll the killers is probably the last thing that comes to mind....well mostly cuz there not an "independent" so its kinda pretentious and superficial. indie = independent label. the killers = NOT indie. hate me if you want but im right this is POP music
