I own this movie and I watch it over and over and over. GREAT MOVIE!! What's weird is how after all the years of people thinking it was gone forever, a copy was found in a janitor's closet at a mental hospital in Oslo! Who knew??

I could not understand what was being said but I have been doing a history day project over joan and this seems to be very accurate to what really happened to her. I love this film.

Intertitles generally aren't the most heartfelt thing in the world and are there to convey information, so yeah, subtitles might not be necesary, but they serve a function and would be nice. It's nothing to swear about though, rent the DVD.
