agree with that.i spent dollars on upgrades and it still a shit heap the slash,needs nothing just injoy it for what it is ...now the new sc8 on the other hand is somthing else .powered by bushless novakwow i cant wait to finnish it

Nitro sucks its too much work and money, just drop a mamba max system in it and this thing will fly faster than the stock vxl

i see that traxxas slasha a steering with a servo under the chassic is not good design..why is that..because of no protection shield for steering servo..a slash is a still poor design for a steering / servo under the chassic

The gray and black slash has the VXL system installed, the red one is how you will get it out of the box with the XL-5 ESC
