I like Slash for the melodies, not the skills. He may not be the best player, but he composes beautiful slow melodies. I prefer slash's tunes to tunes of fast fingerings by many "more skillful" guitarists.

It's the melody and overall tone of the song that is popular. Not how well it's played or how complicated or how skillful. Depends on what you are looking for. But hey, I dun blame you, I don't like Juno one bit and that is a freaking popular movie. Well, maybe because I'm not used to "American Culture". Juno is for Americans. off topic...sorry.

I study guitar and i hear when ther is a mistake..but i don't say that slash doesn't play the guitar.

then you don't know what a bend is. that's one of the things Slash is known for, his bends because he does them to perfection, especially in studio.
