Bullshit, the only place Al-Qaeda was operating in Iraq was north in the Kurdish controlled region, who were Saddam's number one enemy.Ah, yes, another bad comparison to Japan and Germany.Japanese and German civilans haven't been shooting and blowing up US troops since the wars ended there.Also, Japan and Germany were unified nations, where the ethnic groups weren't at each other throats, only held together by force.

AQ was OPENLY operating in Iraq with Saddams approval. Even Clinton was able to show their cooperation when he was president. Iraq war terrorist central after AQ was forced out of Afghanistan. Saddam had 3 terror training camps in Samarra, Ramadi, and Salman Pak. Saddam DID take Kuwait and was driven out by USA and her allies. We have occuping Germany and Japan since the end of WWII and show no sign of leaving anytime soon either.
