Low crime....it's a safe place to live....though boring to those use to bigger cities..... Centrally located to most large Texas cities like Dallas and Houston....3 hours or so driving.....short lines at the airport....still growing....Low housing costs compared to most of the U.S.

I used to live in Killeen (from 1996-1998). I was stationed in Ft. Hood there, when I was in the Army.The Luby's was still there. In 2000, I heard they lost business and became a Chinese restaurant?

Boring, but safe. Something we all take for granted. I used to live on snob hill, copperas Cove. If that's what they still call it. I lived n Fort Hood, kileen too. It's a good place. Tecas BBQ is The BOMB.

Copperas Cove ain't that much better..heh, our mall is Walmart..I'll be happy when Market Heights gets all built, whoo, yay for Cheddars and the Cracker Barral..

They probably build all the houses with cheap illegal immigrant labor and sell it to the unsuspecting soldiers for double market value. |
