She did NOT die with a needle in her arm! It was diet pills mixed with some alcohol. An accident took away this great talent.

I think she's got the best voice ever. I can't quite get into Ella's scat or Billie's voice metre. (No offense) & Nancy Wislon confuses me when I catch her, BY MISTAKE, on my Sirius. hmmmm

Amy Winehouse got inspiration of many great divas. Anyway (Amyway), Amy has an unique voice and she is already a legend. Maybe the best singer in her genre.

who cares about who copys who ??.. If you do the song better than the person you heard do it ... so what ....and you will prob. say Dinah stole "Sept. in The Rain".. or "Unforgetable" ...do you think Nat King Cole sang it better .. Hell No he didnt ..and this crap about ELVIS stealing songs from Blacks....was he supposed to take money to the writters .. how the hell did he know who got paid ...Dinah was the very best ...and yes .. she died with a needle in her arm.

What a fantastic voice and what a range! She has such character in her voice and sings with a beautiful quality that's all her own. What a tragedy that she died so young.
