The original version is made from Domenico Modugno ( 1951 ) there is a lot of cover the most recent is from Gypsy King. The first american traslation was made from a black woman singer ( I don't rember the name ) but people rember the cover from Frank Sinatra.There are a lot of Italian song covered !!!
