There is no way Whitney could have ruined this song. Yes, she is overly hyped, but that doesn't take away the fact that the woman was a technically brilliant singer, one of the lesser known facts of her career believe it or not. I do think Regina complemented Peabo a little better though, she allows him to shine (that soaring effortless tenor of his) without trivializing her own performance. Anyway, Whitney was busy with the Bodygaurd during this time so she couldn't have done it anyway.

I think they picked the right female to sing this part. I love Celine but Regina sounds awesome on this piece with Peabo.
