YES, amen..but not in the same way!.. face it, kids aren't about to copy their folks....I have some hope in rap music to a degree. I remember alot of 60's counterculture came out of black culture- Stokely Carmichael..the hippies all imitated his speech- INCLUDING BOB DYLAN!! Marty Balin himself imitated Otis Redding...The rappers have a healthy sense of rebellion+revolution, although not "gangsta rappers", theyre out of it!....what we need is a new counterculture...to match the times.
