Besides being Muslim, I don't patronize this BS because I am African America. My theory is not 2 put any money into the pockets of people who want exploit and destroy me! Doesn't make sense to do it!

You know in Africa we were royalty, we had instutions of higher learning, armies, empires, kingdom. I can't really say this contributes to building a kingdom, not when our streets are drug dens. We don't have time 2 dance around radios, we are dancing around radios while the china-man is manufacturing it! Ford and GM make big money off the black community had don't give anyhting back, so why attach ourselves to these items that destroy us! God doesn't like items that are used 4 corruption!

It's sad actually Black Christians should try to seperate from these things like cars, jewelry, and material. Our neighborhoods look like war-zones, bras walking around with high price jewlery without a high school degree, make a video about a negro who can read, who has a college education, a sister who doesn't were 2nd second jeans, brothers who are in corporate buildings=SUCCESS! How r gone wear a chain that a kid probaly died to harvest, n AFRICA of all places! WAKE UP PEOPLE!

I totally agree with the fact that a lot of people idolize and worship their possessions, like cars and jewelry, but i dont see how Lecrae is idolizing his "stuff" in this video. Do you expect him to just walk down the street rapping, wearing no jewelry, or even clothes for that matter? thats beyond ridiculous. the only Idol he's worshiping here is God himself.

No it doesn't say in anything about bling and cars, but it does discuss creating intellectual idols, which cars and jewlery are! You should be focused on worshipping God and obeying him, if you need his decaying, detoriating creation as a tool to strenthen your faith, than that becomes an object that is necessary in order to connect with God-which is an IDOL! This Bible doesn't say alot of things but if you want the answers to every problem, than there is no purpose of having a brain!

where in the Bible does it say you cant praise God wearing "bling" and riding in cars? And why can't this music represent Jesus? Lecrae is using his God-given ability to rap and rhyme for God's glory...I see nothing wrong with that

can anibody tell me why there is crunk music representing Jesus?I like other songs of Lecrae but this ...I find kind of diturbing...This is not the best way to turn people's heads towards God.he is dissing the dirty south rappers,and God hates that.You shouldn't talk about others.and the video should be more decent!You cant sibng about Jesus wearing bling blings and riding cars!sorry no offense .I used to listen to hip-hop two but now I know its not good.:P few songs remain good...others bad |
