You're stereotyping. Don't lump every Christian in with your extremist girlfriend :)

Because if he just tried telling us, a lot of people (probably you included, but I won't jump to conclusions) would call it a hoax, scam, or conspiracy :D

Ouch. Attack one religion at a time please. You're already firing away at Christianity. No need to try and drag Islam into this as well.

In the end, all that really matters is that we have all lived our lives fully, and we can look back and see that, even if some of the things we did were a waste of time and probably quite foolish, it was a good life, and you can be happy with it.That's just my opinion :/

I agree - unfortunately people like Rick get so caught up in old testament quotes, etc that they miss the truth that Christ came to reveal. The whole and perfect example He laid out for us to try to become better at loving God and one another. It's sad how many people miss the point that Christ changed everything - and gave others 2000 years ago and today - a blueprint for living life to the 'full' both now and in eternity. Put down your 'stones' Rick and start truly living.Peace & prayers

No offense or anything, Rick, but most people's encounter with faith is one on an emotional and spiritual level, not a scientific "EUREKA" thing. If you're going to denounce every quote Christians pull from the Bible as fake and nonsense, and say that whatever we feel with our hearts is fake and simply our imagination... excuse me if I'm wrong, but it seems rather unfair to me.It's sort of like trying to talk about art using physics :S It's possible... but kinda ridiculous.

"irony: the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply, How nice! when I said I had to work all weekend"Um, I'm just a kid, so excuse me but I'm wrong... but isn't that sarcasm? Not irony? Just thought I'd point that out :S

Actually, there is. My class and I learned about Jesus' existence in Social Studies 8 last year :D Historians agree that Jesus existed, just as much as Mohammed or King Tut did. Whether or not you believe that he's Jesus Chris, Saviour and Lord, is another issue. But it's official - Jesus existed.
