Do you even read your Bible. Why would God send His only begotten Son to die to make Him happy. That doesn't make any sense. He was sent to earth to die for our sins so that one day we can go to Heaven. You said yourself that it needed to be done. If not for us why would it need to be done.

It is really a nice song. The problem with it is that Jesus didnt die for us. He died because that was what needed to be done. It isnt about Man it all. It is about the Father. It was about pleasing the Father, his Father, my Father. In the lyrics, "He thought of me above all," It is completely wrong, he asked it if was Gods will that the cup be took from him but he did what was needed to be done.
