How can we have respect for someone (Obama) who doesn't respect our Constitutional Rights? The anti-gunners downplay this by calling the Constitution "outdated" and "written in a different time". I wonder what they would say if we applied the current and pending 2nd amendment restrictions to the 1st amendment? Oh, THEN it's unconstitutional.

Semi-autos are the most popular guns today and they are not "assault weapons". Real assault weapons are fully automatic select-fire machine guns. These have been severely restricted for civilians since 1934.Obama and other rabid gun hating fools like to lie and say that all semi-autos are "assault weapons" but that's just not true. They also like to call hunting guns "sniper rifles" and revolvers "dirty harry death machines".
