Both incredible cars. I have never driven a Ford GT, but i have driven 2 z06s. They are a remarkable vehicle. But i can promise driving a GT would turn twice as many heads as the z06. Hate to say it, but just alot cooler

It's the other way around kid, Volvo and Mazda are owned by Ford. So was Aston Martin and Jaguar until about two years ago. The GT is a modified version of the old model with a longer wheel base, wider track, and roofline. Read stats before you make comments on something you have no knowlege of. And cuz is not a word because is. And put a GT in a garage for ten years and watch your money triple. So is it worth the expense? I should think so.

racing moded cars and then saying one is better than the other is the stupidest thing you could do. If i put a twin turbo on that gt and raced the z06 it would blow the doors off the chevy, but its not a better car than the z06 its just twin turbo. stock vs stock the GT is faster. Modded cobras are faster than a z06

why is this guy in his comment talking bout the history of a vehicle maker,does he mean that just cuz a company won a race it must be the best car.This gt is so different from the car that won Le mans the only thing it shares is the body and thats even different in some respect this gt is probably made by volvo anyways since thats where all fords are coming from of late

i think its funny that a sport car beat a car that is breed for raceing if you were to upgrade the corvette for to point of the price of the gt you would have one unstoppable car,people laugh at the corvette but lets face itfor the price you cannot beat it,the gt is just a beefed up mustang in an old ass shell for 150k

When Chevy wins a Le mans I'll believe it.The Ford GT40 was a high performance sports car and winner of the 24 hours of Le Mans four times in a row, from 1966 to 1969 (in 1967 with a different body, though). It was built to win long-distance sports car races against Ferrari (who won at Le Mans six times in a row from 1960 to 1965). Kind of tough pedigree to beat..don't you think. Come to think of it, I have never heard of a Corvette ever beating a Ferrari on a road course.

LOL...and I bet you would rather have the price tag also...LOL.corvette now offers a ZR-1 if you havent heard. That is also cheaper than a ford GT (zr1 msrp=109k). And guess what. It absolutely destroys the GT in every single way
