I think there should be a new rule: if Nick Heidfeld is against something, then that's what should be done. We should do whatever Nick Heidfeld says is a bad idea. He's the most boring driver on the F1 grid and at last year's Japanese GP when it was raining, he said they shouldnt start the race. F1 drivers are supposed to be "brave" and they get paid millions to drive, but he was on the radio saying "it's not safe". Some call him "Quick Nick", I call him "Nick the prick".

you're never gonna convince me,you even said its a klasse1 car above, but very little of evo2 parts if any,but hey i gave you a thumbs up ,cos i like a good arguement...

AMG self called it only an interim solution. But it still had the 4-cylinder engine and the class1 rules said: 2,5 V6 cylinder!!! (Therefore BMW quitted, because they wanted to use their 6 cylinders in a row engine. The only real class1 car in 1993 was the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI (and therefore they've won). AMG came 1994 with the true blooded class1 C-Class. But even on the DTM website they don't name it consistantly in one way.

They called it class1, the "ITR" only wanted class1 cars to start. But actually it wasn't a true blooded class1 car, but an over-worked 190 Evo II (more bhp, other bodykit etc.).
zoomer46 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
it had totally different bodykit ,active suspension, more power, its not an evo2!if it was an evo2 they would call it that would'nt they?it would make more sense to call it an m3,than evo2.klasse1 had over 400bhp,evo2 380 tops,i could go on...

polizei's right. It's an 190E Evo II. And was a class1 car
nagmashot (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
During that time was a DTM car a heavy tuned version of the road going car.. The Mercedes 190E 2.5-16V Evo II was the road going version of the car.. same bodykit, same basic engine with 238hp n/a the race version had from 330-380hp in the latest evolution step |
