First of all it's Meryl. Second of all, of course she's happy. She's got one already, so why does she have to act? Sure, it would have been nice to get another one, but she wasn't expecting to get one anyways.

Susan was absolutely amazing in Dead Man Walking. I agree with those who would have given the Oscar to Meryl, but Suze was a verrrrry close second and I'm glad she won!

I agree. I adimt I haven't seen the other movies but "The Bridges of Madison County" is one of the few movies in my life that made me cry. And at least 50% of that is because of Meryl.
