My q6700 overclocked to 3.5ghz is very stable, cause i'm using a huuuuuge cpu cooler and good motherboard to keep it stable and cool...

it is very easy, but isnt very stable (or atleast ive found asus mkotherboard bios not to be). Also, for all of the people watching thinking "im not doing this, i dont want my hardware to be damaged" so long as you have sufficient power supply and cooling there is no chance at all of this happening. On intel core2duo processors the stock heat sink gives easily enough cooling to overclock and game, so dont worry about that. with memory, most gaming sticks are ok but extra cooling can be bought

Overclocking with ASUS motherboards that have CPU LEVEL UP (like my asus maximus II formula) is the easiest thing ever! :D
