I think it's because you're from Scotland yourself.. I'm from Holland and the music I come to know from Scottish artists (or Irish for that matter) is mostly good quality ;)

Then theres KT Tunstall, swear to god she would eat herself and thinks shes got the edge on everyone, not true.There sems to something about Scottish and Irish people that seem to not be able to critisize their own. Its high time we did because we are allowing talentless upstarts to think they are the best!!

I am Scottish but hate Scottish bands. I find them totally full of shit. Is this because I am Scottish, or do I have a point. You see, they take themselves and their talent too seriously, Marti Pellow actually thinks his voice is amazing and not the total cheese stains that it is. Sharleen spiteri sings with no feeling what so ever but thinks she is a diva, Glasvegas, the apparently new band...come on its martyrdom city which has been done a million times before. RunRig...say nomore!!
