There's a lot of shoegaze music out there today. A couple amazing bands like the Ides of Space or A Northern Chorus are AMAZING!!! Check them out.

i love the gathering cover of this song, but the original of slowdive it's soooo goood! i personally prefer gathering's version since anneke voice and the musical arrangement it's better, but thats just me, i still like a lot the original...
