We tried the food,and my boxers just wouldn't get full on it,it was like they were just going right through it, always hungry so we went back the Royal Canin Boxer. They do much better on it. I love the "meet the boxer" part of this video. People don't really know the Boxer. They are Great. i would have never known. but i am a boxer person NOW!! We have TWO.lol

Love the noncommercial bits -- the stuff about heart health is silly -- l-carnitine has been shown to help a very tiny subset of dogs with a specific genetic problem that causes a tiny percentage of heart disease. It does nothing for dogs who don't have that specific defect. The breeders in question know better, too.

Wasn't a bad video. I liked it. Of course it's a commercial, but it's informative about the breed. The "commercial" part pays for the video. Nothing in life is free. Euk ain't bad. But my boxer seems to prefer Nutra and mighty dog.

Everyone has an opinion on the cropped ears issue. And nothing that either side writes or says will change the other side's minds. But I'll still throw my hat into the ring.Health issues aside; I think Cropped Boxers look stoic, dignified, and handsome. Uncropped Boxers look cute and adorable. So I will always crop a male boxer. I'd consider leaving a female boxer uncropped.

Great Video showing the true colors of boxers, but like tipoputo it was disgusting to see this emotional video turn into a dog food commercial. Personally, I would never feed my boxers Eukanuba. We feed our boxer food that is 100% meat, and supplement with treats that contain hip and heart nutrients. And ear infections or not it is CRUEL to crop an animals ears. Not to mention that they look like idiots. |
