Funny, that's usually to enhance your volume/projection and give a clearer, more pronounced tone, but she still has a very soft-sounding voice. I can't decide if I like it or not, honestly.

i think she sounds ok, atleast she actually sings her music instead of ahem, lip synching...she's an actress a singer so i mean how is she "suppose" to be....at least she's not as bad as the brat pack ahem we all know who they are....

That's how you sing, to pronounce vowel sounds more open. In my opinion, Ms. Rossum's way doing this vocally-correct.
