yeah man, I love 10 Years also. They're amongst my favorite bands. But I love ashes divide more.

this music has so much more passion in it than any other band i've ever heard...I just get absorbed into the beauty of the notes. ASHES dIVIDE is one of the few bands that can make me feel their music. I love them and I aspire to write music like this. Sure, bands like Tool have amazingly intelligent lyrics, amazing instrumental parts, and set amazing atmospheres, but they don't compare to what ASHED dIVIDE does. Its hard to explain, but they're just on a different level thanalmostanyotherband

Instrumentally this is amazing!Billy has a great voice but its almost like a poppish voice. I dont mean that as an insult but id prefer MJKs voice for rock songs like this. But Billy definitely gets major props for doing such a great job writing almost everything on the solo album himself! Being the only musician working on such a wide range of stuff can be difficult.

This is quite excellent. It is dark, has emotion, amazing guitar... No need to compare it to A Perfect Circle really, because then people just get into the whole Maynard's voice or Billy's voice thing, and honestly, this is just good music.
