We're running out of many things, including arable land to grow crops for fuel, topsoil, freshwater, uranium, coal, ocean fisheries and much more. We have to seriously reduce human population and consumption. For the transition, we need to conserve like crazy as a start. (Richard Heinberg makes a strong case for this in his presentation at "Kiss Your Gas Goodbye", which you can find on the Peak Moment website peakmoment(dot)tv.

Janaia I was talking with David Blume and I found out that the materials used to make solar panels are a non re-usable mineral and we don't have enough of it to make it a good option for everyone. Like oil it's not going to last. We will run out. |
