yeah hes supposed to be some arch angel from heaven, in other words hes like some elite angel whos helping the humans by stopping diablo and his brothers from using the world as another hell to spawn a demon army on.

besides u can see the silouhette of his face at the ending... before he passes him the soulstone. if he's tyrael u shudnt even c the outline of his face.

Tyreal aids you in destroying the World Stone. Baal however is disguised as Tyreal only in the cinematics.

This is happening a bit before act V. Also, Baal's original body is gone. He was forced into Tal Rasha's body.

I don't know how that could be possible: At the end of the game, Tyreal appears alongside Baal's body. Unless of course, this IS part of the storyline. I might have forgotten. Mind if you enlighten me, please?
