The good Doctor is the very best. Plus, that bass player has such a biting, percussive tone. Love it!I guess Dr. John is Americas most precious resource.

Saw him at the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise-He was great.His drummer Herman Roscoe Ernest was awesome.

Finbar:He plays a mean guitar too. I haven't seen him now for years, but he plays several instruments. I don't think he likes to stand and play too much in recent years so he sticks to the piano, his first love.

I saw this show.Drove all the way from Chattanooga to my hometown to catch him,Van Morrison,and jerry lee lewis,and I'd just broken my right leg a week before! it was especially great when he joined Van onstage for Hello Josephine by Fats Domino.
