i read the studio engineer shot himself in the head while he was recording the shaggs because they were so bad. i also heard that's why kurt cobain shot himself: the shaggs album was playing on a loop next to his body. the policemen that responded to the scene shot each other because the shaggs were so bad. finally the power company cut power to the house to get the music to stop so they could remove kurts body--but not before a mexican gardener outside killed himself from hearing the music.

My god this is bad. My baby cousin could play guitar better than this... And as for them doing music for the right reason, their father coerced them into playing in the band, they spent their entire childhood living out their father's dream.

I rated this a 5 and favorited it. THe song might be childish and not have that much technical prowess.But this is what music is supposed to be about. And the message is a timeless one. The Shagg sisters might not be that great at making quality music, but they used music for the right reasons, and sent out an honest message. |
