That sounds like the commercials for the Gap, I believe they did 4 or 5 versions, featuring Shaggy, Sharyl Crowe, Robbie Robertson... and a dozen others. And it didn't suck.There was also a version by the Goo Goo Dolls that came out around the same time. (It was also really good!)

i remember hearing a song close to this (i think another band played it) on a commercial while i was visiting relatives in America. Im pretty sure it was for Hurricane Katrina victims. cant rly remember though it was a few years ago :\
