If I should ever marry ( at this rate, probably when I am 70 yo ), this song will be played at the wedding. This song most certainly figures among the Top 100 songs of the 60s. What a classic song, and yes, what a film.

the infamous pottery scenes have got to be one of the most sensual scenes ever filmed. It doesnt show overt sexual matter but the sensuality of it is enough to portray the passion. THAT is a skill that sadly is no longer in the film industry. And with this song, it has got to be one of the MOST memorable love scene in film history. perfect! 5/5

If there was ever a Singer that we could say "Owns" a song then I think we could say that about the late Bobby Hatfield's version of "Unchained Melody"...I've always felt this was Bobby's signature Song but after his version became the Theme Song of the movie "Ghost" I don't believe anyone can deny that this does, and always will belong to Bobby...Sing it from Heaven now my little angel....Bob |
