it's amazing to see the videos of the Swiss Movement! this is my absolute favourite! swinging, soulful, groovy, intelligent, mindblowing! and it's great to read all these interesting comments about it. this is REAL music for REAL people! thanks for sharing this Masterpiece, sock it to me!

yowzah! I just saw Les McCann yesterday at the San Jose festival yesterday. Javon Jackson was on sax and Lonnie Smith on Hammond B3. He ripped the place up with this. The audience sang all the "compared to what"s. The lyrics (esp., "the president's go his war...") still ring true -- I guess that's both good and bad,good in that we still have these songs to raise our spirits. Like Pete Townsend once said, music won't solve out problems but it does help us to dance all over them. I was dancin'!
