One of Mayweather's best performances in the Ring. Absolutely dominates N'dou by staying the in the pocket all night, punishing N'dou with power punches over and over. Also the defence displayed by Mayweather at the second half of round 5 is amazing.

RAN? He was boxing! He was boxing Oscar's head in for the whole 2nd part of the fight. Oscar never hurt Floyd once in their match. I'm surprised they called it a slpit decision. He treated De La Hoya like a sparring partner.

This fight showed the greatness of Floyd Mayweather Jr! That kid is tough all around. I don't think no one from 130 to 147 could beat him. Possibly 154 but I think some of the guys there are too big & strong for Floyd. But all in all he is a special fighter & regardless of what people say or think he always puts on a spectacular performance.

Oh I forgot one more, Roberto Duran would have knocked him out.

Carman Basillio would have beat the crap out of him. Salvador Sanchez would have beat him up. Aaron Pryor would have beat him up. Number two, he ain't pretty. He may think he is but he's not. Leonard in his prime....He would have beat Floyd up. Thomas Hearns, he would have knocked pretty boy out in six rounds.

Longtall, if Floyd ran so much how did he absolutely DOMINATE Hoya with punches landed and power punches? You should re-watch the fight. Floyd stuck and moved and let Hoya get him against the ropes and do his little thing. Those were the only times Hoya scored. Basically, as chugger said, he got his ass beat by a smaller man. Spin it anyway you want but Pretty Boy is a master and easily the best along with Ali and Robinson, and maybe Pernell, maybe. I don't quite put Leonard in that class.

I meant to say, Champions are not champions if they run all night...

Sorry chigger boy, he lost the decision, but he didn't get beat. Floyd stayed on the bike peddling his butt off. I give Floyd respect. More than that, he is great. But not the greatest.

De La Hoya had everything in his favor when he fought Floyd. He had it at 154, he had choice of gloves and he had a smaller ring.......He got beat asshole, get over it.

Oh he is very skilled at the science of boxing. But it doesn't change the fact that he should give Oscar a rematch, he ran all night. Champions are champions if they run. That's like Leonard getting the nod against Hagler. Was he flashier? Yes. Did he box great? Yes. But he ran all night long.

People always like to hate winners, dominators. It comes with the territory.
