well i agree about the drum solo ive seen way better, but have you ever been to a fucking concert? what kind of band wouldnt want the crowd singing along?

Foo Fighters rock! HOWEVER....the drum solo that everyone seems so enamored with is simply not a very good drum solo! Taylor Hawkins is a decent drummer, no doubt; but he's NOT a heavy hitter (say, like Bonham), nor technical (say, like Peart), nor out of control (say, like Moon). And, I hate it when crowds sing back to bands...totally cheesy.

Grohl must have felt compressed in Nirvana...cause a lot of really good music has just been boiling out of the guy ever since. What I think is cool is that he is so un-Nirvana, not trying to cash in on that band, that genre', at all. I do not like all of their output but the Foos did 2 albums that make it all worth while for me....

dave grohl is a good guitarists hes no slash or kirk hammett but he can play the guitar really good also brilliant drummer and class singer hes good at everything lol though ive never saw him play a bass guitar but i bet he can play it
