giacomo got a bad ride in the belmont he would have destroyed aflatulent alex had mike smith rode him in the belmont the same way he rode him in the derby

uh i dont think so! He beat giacomo in the rest of the races and he had a broken bone that couldnt heal 100% so we didnt want to risk the chance of him getting hurt again and having to put him down. and ur right Afleet wasnt 10x better then Giacmo he IS a 100000000000000000000000000...x better than him!

turf is better and safer atleast us aussies have sence dirt tracks are dangerous alot of champions have broken down or hurt themselves on american dirt tracks eg barbaro,ruffian,alydar man o war hurt him sleve sevral times sea bisciot got a injurywhile racing on american tracks atleast in australia if a horse falls there is less like of them getting injured or even killed and same with jockeys

ten times the horse? l highly doubt it he never raced again after the belmont the fragile pup!giacomo s sire would have destroyed him on his best day!

Afleet Alex was retired after the Belmont due to an injury.Giacomo got lucky when Jeremy Rose moved Alex too soon. Alex was 10 times the horse Giacomo was.
