Compton Summer Soul Jam presented by 102.3 KJLH, Los Angeles Sentinel and the City of Compton

For the third summer, KJLH teamed up with the Los Angeles Sentinel(nation's no. 1 black newspaper), and the City of Compton(c/o Councilman Isadore Hall) to present the COmpton Summer Soul Jam. It was off the hook as we turned the Compton Par Three Golf Course into a jazz festival complete with exhibit booths, and delicious food booths, plus a lineup of awesome musical guests. The band was kickin as the inimitable Ricky Minor backed up all the artists... He put together this stellar lineup that included Anthony Hamilton, Johnny Gill, Charlie Wilson, Mikki Howard, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Holly Robinson-Peete, the Sai Whatt Band (that's old skool LA y'all), the Barbara Morrison band... and many more!!
