I find it hilarious how you criticize his "racist pastor" after you talk about how you were distracted by his "enormous smacking lips."John Lewis is a real American hero, this man led over 600 non violent marchers over a bridge that was illegally blocked by police and despite suffering over 40 beatings by mobs and public officials (some of them near fatal.) He never stopped fighting for human rights. He will be more of a man and an American that you will ever be.

It was hard to follow his speech because I was distracted by his enormous smacking lips. Anyway, his recent attacks on Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin will soon be countered by linking Obama with his racist pastor, Jeremiah Wright.

First off, I am a black man and you are right a Republican set the slaves free, and in the past black did support the republican party, then it was considered the party of Reconstruction, Emancipation, and Lincoln. Now it is lead by a Presidential candidate that didn't vote for MLK day in Arizona because he said he didn't know who he was. He is very out of touch. One last thing, read about McCain's first wife and how he treated her, She is a true American Hero. I'll vote for her.

It is sad to see black Americans abandoning the political party that stood by them in their fight for equal rights. When John Lewis and Martin Luther King were fighting for equality and human dignity, they were fighting against Democrats. Today, Democrat politicians are still trying to deny the equality of minorities. "You can't make it on your own, let the government take care of you". See the light, my brothers. Vote to end the government handouts that are keeping your people in slavery.
