Ok I could see why we don't have practical flying cars right now, but damnit! I want a QRIO! Why did sony kill the project :'(

It's so cute~~~~~~ It's a little difficult to understand, but the intonation is getting there. :)Hmmm. I suspect that it's responding to some preprogramed questions....wonder how that works....

Or maybe they thought international relations would be damaged, as lots of westerners disagree with the creation of humanoid robots.

we must destroy this thing before it kills john connor

that is because Sony fears the Artificial Intelligence becoming self-aware. Either that, or the fact that these little prototypes will soon revolutionize the industry, replacing humans who will be forced out of work because robots will be paid and will not get tired.

i think so too, it moves better too. but its probably not as intelligent

i like how it moves around, so fluent, like a human almost. i wonder how it would act if it had free will

What I really don't understand is why Sony decided to stop, when they were on the verge of something remarkable, and how even today the prototypes of the Qrio are still being used for research. Not only that, but Sony has prevented anyone else from carrying on the research and development of Qrio, even though they have to intentions to do anything else but scrap the device.
