that would make it a perfect buy (since replica enthusiasts want the exact copy). Since it uses a new frame, why not use one with a centerline driver seat?

It does not use an MR2 body, it's a completely new frame and body. It uses the MR2 drivetrain, suspension & rotors. Optionally you can use a LS1

Very nice for a kit car. It'd be awesome if they could have engineered it so the driver sits centreline, like in the real car. Although I guess the MR2 body isn't realy wide enough for a central drivers seat with 2 smaller flanking passenger seats (like in the real F1). The only aesthetic criticism I have of the body is that the roof scoop looks too large in comparison to the rest of the car.
