cozmik, has it ever come to your mind that some women "choose" to stay covered? Just because they're covered doesnt mean they oppressed. Nuns choose to stay covered..does that mean they're oppressed? Exactly.

I am all for this, however, Muslim women in America, at least some, still live the same way. They still stay covered and follow muslim laws. This needs to be addressed too.

Why does the world honor, and do business with governments who took over a country by force, murdering everybody in sight until they gained power? Why? The gov. of Iran is nothing but a gang of murdering thugs, that continues every day to torture, abuse, it's citizens. The world has got to put a stop to this kind of crap. Is it ever wrong to impose democracy on a country? NO! How's that?

This is a blueprint for true freedom - protest from the inside! These women are incredible for they face what many brave men would hesitate to take on. Imprisonment in such cases is not just a word - it is a condition of total humiliation, depression and violation of their basic rights. They risk losing their families. They risk losing their lives. Not to stand in solidarity with such courage is to be branded a cowardly world forever!
