The point was to suggest that anyone can pick any label of a person or group that's done horrible things and use that as their reasoning. Dawkins continually won't leave his anti-religion bias in his debates and creates a constant double standard in all his arguments. It hurts rather than helps him get it accross.

Richard Dawkings' brain is missed up. People reached the current life BECAUSE of religion. Religions teach ethics and values. Religions showed to us what is right and what is wrong. Religions are what made us human beings..

I thought Dawkins was supposed to be some kind of mighty speaker or debater? He holds a normal double standard in the argument that his opponents also have ... He sees religious negatives when he wants and disregards alternatives when it suits him. Not a single concrete point whatsoever ... regretting my purchase of G-delusion now.

Atheism is the de facto position of human belief. Let me use the analogy of a smoker and a non-smoker. Everyone is born a non-smoker, not a smoker. Only later in life does one become a smoker. If someone quits smoking he or she becomes a non-smoker again. The only requirement to be a non-smoker is to not smoke. The same is true with atheism. Atheism just means a lack in the belief in a god whether personal (theism) or otherwise (deism). People are not born believing in God. It is instilled.

Atheism just ascribes that human morality is a natural phenomena and is result of our evolution as a species and as societal/cultural groups. Vice coming from some unproven supernatural source.
