I miss the days when Americans could escape into fantasy and pretend they could fight The Man through cool cars, big trucks, and CB radios. We could hear the New World Order coming but it still seemed far away. Americans could buy a REAL Pontiac Trans Am and pretend to be free back then. For the past 20 years, Hollywood's been cranking out anomic movies that are preparing us to go into the worst police-state slave-surveillance grid in world history and ol' Bandit will be in bondage with us.
