I am American,born and raised here in United States. Born Christian and I wear a head scarf/Hijab. I live in red neck county and there are times I get looks but everyone in my town knows very well to keep their mouth SHUT or else! That goes for anywhere else as well. I would NEVER allow myself to be treated that way. I will NOT bow down and show my body just to make everyone else happy. My body is ONLY for my husband to see. PERIOD! That is why I cover my hair.

My wife wears the veil, thou she's a Christian [as Christians traditionally do], and she was almost thrown out of nursing school because of it. A particular woman [the teacher] had tried to intimidate her, even to the point of not allowing me to get out of our car, while picking her up, otherwise she would call 9-11, claiming that we're "Muslim extremists"

Yeah your right equality im not saying that i would discriminate or be racised i think thats harsh but you wont be able to stop everyone from saying things or doing things because many people like there country to be theres and they dont like people coming into it and living there and being born in these countrys i can understand but it wont stop the insults and hatred they would get of people that just dont like other people from other palces.
