The greatest composer of the 20th century.The fantastic geniuses of the era played because they were artists and it was all about the music. They all played together, collaborated, appreciated each other's work, and had genuine love for what they did. They shared their gift with all of us! Thank God for Ellington, Armstrong, Basie, Holiday, Fitzgerald, e.t.c.
