I just love Gabriela Montero and the way she improvises! Wish I could do that... improvisation.

love how she starts simply and adds more embellishments, chords, accidentals/passing tones and syncopation.very reminiscient of Keith Jarrett with the pedal bass on V and variations on a theme with major/bluesy harmonies ... I do wish she would get a little more 'out there', or rather, 'stay out there' in the playing ... she has a lot of nice outside lines but they always resolve so quickly to major/traditional harmony. Love the harmony she does around 5:55 ...
