most of my favorite music is from the UK (keane, doves, travis, james...). i didn't get the FB scholarship, but i would've loved to have lived in manchester for 1 year. peace from across the pond.

Manchester in the UK has to be a magical place to breed this type of music. Greetings from Nicaragua.

Pure passion in everything they do. Amazing. How you can fathom that a song could possibly be a pure grower/anthem while rehersing it, whilst at the same time side-stepping a commercial breakthrough (more sub sub?). Integrity?. Oh yes! And with more soul than my mate Smokey Robinson to boot.- I'm messin, he's not, i'm from warrington.

Amen to that. It's 'cos they have talent so they haven't had to sell their souls like the shite on the radio. It's the same reason why there used to be UK bands all over the US charts but now there isn't. Our music industry is pissing away our home grown talent.
