Lovely Video. Islamic cultures are hard to understand. As an Indian, I too cannot come to conclusion on "exactly" what kind of thread from Iran is US talking about. Mesopotamia, I guess in now in present day Iraq/Iran. One of cradles of civilisation. Some politicians across the board do such nonsense stuff. Religious fundamentalist paint their colors on entire lot. I'm not too sure how much is Iran a fundamentalist Islamic state as Afghan.

No, I would be blaming Bush for removing Saddam who kept those terrorists from controlling his country. If the US leaves Iraq, there will probably be civil war since the current vichy-government is weak, but I doubt sneaky terrorists would be able to take power of a country like Iraq. The worst that could happen is an Iraqi general instauring a military dictatorship which wouldn't be that different from Saddam.
