actually its true berry did start making music first, but: when berry started playing he played more jazz and blues. elvis played a year after him, but he was the first to play rockabilly. (rocks predecessor)

F Ubut yes wikipedias credibility sucks i often edit it with wrong info well i just checked wiki the article on elvis is protected witch means it can not be edited and it says 1953i have some credible info for you i looked him up in the rock and roll hall of fame his career began in 1953 when Sam Phillips the owner of the Sun Records was moved bt his preformance and sighned him he then later in 1954 teamed up with Scotty Moore and Bill Black and recorded some of his earlyst sucsess

Who knows more YOU or their website. Please tell me you did not get it off of wiki. No offense but they have way more credibility than you. I quote off of Elvis website Bio "In 1954, he began his singing career with the legendary Sun Records label in Memphis." Enough said than!
