I grew up in an Air Force family and while this is partially true.. PAF has been trying to recruit women in flying for a while. (they abound in medicine and signals anyway) Half of them did NOT qualify and that initiative had to be cancelled for years. I doubt thats conservatism or islam's fault.It is a little irritating when everyone rants on an on about 'conservatism' in pakistan which has dwindled to non existence in recent yrs. no wonder ppl mistake us for who we r not
