i think it was sorta... Square Enix's way of saying that even though he wasn't amung the best.. he was special in a wayi think itl turn out hes like.. had mako in him long before experiments on him and zack occurred, maybr like background radiation hes had since he was living in nibelheim as a boy.. it wud sure help explain Tifa's unnatural strength :)just a thought

I must cry every time I see the end of the game. I love Zack. He's... kinda like a very good friend from me. It's like my best friend is dying... Zack is amazing and a damn cool Hero. <3 I like Zack more than Cloud.. ^^

[SPOILER]Cloud never actually joined SOLDIER. he was just an infantryman. in FFVII, he said he used to be a member of SOLDIER, but that was just an illusion based on Zack's life that Cloud believed to be true.As for Cloud being able to throw Sephiroth off the platform, I have no idea how he did that.
