Shit, man! I have to admit, I was just a BABY when songs like these came out, you know? But still, It makes me wish I was old enough back then to understand this kind of music. The idea of men of color in groups creating that unique, soulful sound with instruments...and ALL of them still able to catch a tune? That's what I'm talking about, THAT RIGHT THERE! I love it!
