i was shooting 4 fun...by the way, i find noclip a lot easier and i thought walking AROUND the statue teleports you. ?thnx for comment :0

You can find the 'tunnel' to the 'cave' if you search around the seaweed near the rock you mentioned... and if you walk 'into' the cave's statue, you will be transported back near the lake again. One question: why all the shooting on the plateau right before you made the jumping descent into the valley? The little dinos don't appear until you reach the far shore of the lake and walk through the jungle a few yards.
